Multi-factor (or two-factor) authentication, also abbreviated as MFA (or 2FA), is an additional layer of security that you can add to your online accounts. To find out how to enable it, check out this help doc.
At some point, you may want to disable MFA, or disable it in order to re-enable using a different authenticator app. In this doc, we'll explain how to do this depending on the type of user account you have in Flourish.

If you are part of a company or newsroom
If you are a user that is part of a company or newsroom account, how you disable MFA depends on whether your company requires you to have it enabled.
You can check by hovering over your username in the top-right corner and clicking My account.
If your company does not require MFA, you will see a Disable button next to the MFA section. You can click this to disable MFA, and follow these instructions if you want to re-enable it at a later date.
If you do not see the Disable button, this means your company requires you to have MFA enabled. If you need to disable MFA to set it up with a different authenticator app, you'll need to contact your company admin who can reset it for you.
To do this,

Scroll to the list of members in your company. Company admins will have an ADMIN marker below their names. They may be several admins, any of which will have the ability to reset your MFA for you.
- 3
- Get in contact with your company admin (you can see their email address on the My company page) to request the resetting of your MFA. If they are unsure how to do so, please direct them to this link here.
- 4
- Once the admin has reset your MFA, as your company requires MFA you will be prompted to set it up again when you next log in to Flourish.
