In our bar chart starting points of the Line bar pie template, labels are displayed on top of bars. However, with just a few steps, you can also display your labels next to your bars.

In the Labels settings, select Axis.

Moreover, you can choose the placement, the content, and customize the style of the labels - you can read more about this here.

In the Y axis > Ticks and labels settings, toggle on the Styling settings. Here, you can increase the size of your labels, change the color, tweak the padding, the angle and the maximum number of lines.

In the Tick marks & axis line settings, you can also change the color and width of the axis line, as well as set the length of your ticks to 0.

That's it! Your bar chart labels should now appear next to your bars instead of above them. In our example below, we've also disabled gridlines, enabled data labels and hidden our X axis.
