Flourish empowers you to choose a font for your projects that best represents your voice. The kind of font you can use depends on your Flourish plan.
Free users are able to use Google fonts, but you will have to select it for every chart you create. Publisher customers can add a Google font to a theme so that it automatically loads on new charts. Enterprise customers are able to upload any font of their choice to a company theme.

Free plan
Free plan users can use Google fonts - but they must add it to their charts every time. To do that:
- 1
-
Head to the Google Fonts website
Go to https://fonts.google.com/, look up the font you want and choose Get font.
- 2
-
Get the embed code
To use this font, you'll need its embed code.
You need a single font link in order to add the font into Flourish, so you should opt for One value options for the Italic, Weight and Width parameters.
- 3
-
Copy the link
Copy the part of the link starting from https to everything before &display=swap.
- 4
-
Add the font to the visualization
Head to Layout, delete the Main font and paste it in the Google font box.
You can also add the font into the header, subtitle and text fonts.
TIP: We use rems instead of pixels to measure font size. You can find out more about how font sizing works in Flourish, here.
Font options for paying customers
Users on one of our paid plans can enjoy their own company theme, complete with fonts, color palettes, and logos, while Enterprise-level users can even host their own fonts in Flourish. You can find out more about our paid plans here.
